New XXL semi-mounted plough

The MULTI-CHALLENGER XT ushers in a new era for semi-mounted ploughs designed for very powerful tractors. Designed for large areas, it combines endurance, precision and ploughing capacity of up to 14 bodies. Drawing on the combined expertise of the MULTI-LEADER XT and MULTI-MASTER L ranges, it offers intuitive adjustments and impeccable working quality, even in the most demanding conditions.

The MULTI-CHALLENGER XT continues the evolution of our semi-mounted ploughs by offering a solution dedicated to very high-powered tractors up to 700 hp, including those equipped with wide wheels, dual wheels, or tracks. This semi-mounted machine, the result of our experience in ploughing, combines the best of our KUHN plough ranges for maximum endurance.

An ambitious architecture

The result of our expertise in ploughing, the MULTI-CHALLENGER XT combines the most efficient components from the KUHN range to ensure maximum endurance. Its front section incorporates the key elements of the MULTI-LEADER XT, our benchmark in high-power single-wheel semi-mounted ploughs, offering precision and stability. At the rear, it features the proven architecture of the MULTI-MASTER L, renowned for its robustness and high-quality ploughing. This unique combination ensures consistent, simple and familiar settings, as well as flawless ploughing consistency across the entire width of the plough.

100% on land

Available in two versions with off-track compasses, the MULTI-CHALLENGER XT adapts to the dimensions of the largest tractors, up to 4.5 m and 5.5 m overall width*. Designed to fully exploit the capabilities of tractors of crawler-type, with twin wheels or tyres over 710 mm wide, off-track ploughing ensures optimum traction while reducing soil compaction. The 5.5 m version comes standard with an ON LAND turning sequence with offset position memory, providing precision, comfort and repeatability of settings in all conditions.

Daily performance: greater efficiency, fewer constraints

Designed to maximise productivity on a large scale, the MULTI-CHALLENGER XT offers precise ground tracking that ensures a constant working depth, even on irregular terrain. Its liftable rear section facilitates the creation of short headlands, limits the need for re-tilling and, when conditions require, allows you to work with only the front section to maintain efficiency. The MULTI cutting width, which can be adjusted in seconds, offers great flexibility on a daily basis. Combined with T or NSH safety devices, capable of withstanding the highest stresses, these solutions ensure smooth and cotinuous work. In addition, the optional working lights improve visibility at all times, while the on-board DUOLINER roller creates a high-quality seedbed directly, saving time and ensuring perfect soil preparation in a single pass.

Extra-large pneumatic tyres: stability, traction and control.

One of the major advantages of the MULTI-CHALLENGER XT is its carrying equipped with very large 480/80R42 tyres, fitted as standard to ensure optimum performance in the field and during transport. Thanks to their large diameter, these XXL wheels ensure optimum traction in all conditions, allowing the plough to operate smoothly on all types of soil while limiting compaction.
At the same time, their ability to distribute the load evenly across the entire plough prevents stress peaks, thereby improving stability, component longevity and ease of use. This equipment is essential for maintaining a consistent level of performance, even in the most demanding working environments.

DUOLINER: effective reconsolidation directly after ploughing

The DUOLINER roller crumbles and compacts the soil ploughed by the MULTI-CHALLENGER XT plough.

The DUOLINER on-board roller improves soil preparation by creating a finely crumbled seedbed and deep consolidation that retains moisture, directly during ploughing. Thanks to its parallelogram frame and patented Steady Control system, it ensures optimal ground tracking and automatically adjusts pressure according to plough settings and terrain, without driver intervention. Fully integrated and controllable from the cab, it saves time and ensures consistent work quality.
