HIGHLANDER at work in the field

HIGHLANDER, Scalping and mixing, the machine that works for your soil!

KUHN's new stubble cultivator, works efficiently on all types of soil from the very first pass. It adjusts its working depth from 3 to 20cm, optimising soil health and crop growth. Equipped with wings, it cuts through weed root systems and creates fine soil ideal for germination.

HIGHLANDER restructures and mixes the soil to accelerate the decomposition of residues into organic matter and improve soil fertility. It can be equipped with gauge wheels, a floating drawbar and floating extensions for excellent ground following. Its 4 rows of Non-Stop Mechanical safety tines can withstand a tip load of 350kg.

HIGHLANDER is available in widths of 6 and 7.5 metres for tractors from 180 to 400hp. It provides unrivalled efficiency and flexibility for scalping, mulching, incorporating amendments and preparing the soil between crops, simplifying soil working operations while maximising yields.

HR 6030 RCS: new foldable power harrow combination

The new HR 6030 RCS, with a working width of 6.00 metres, completes KUHN’s HR 1030 RCS range of foldable power harrows which already includes models from 4 to 5 metres.

Power-to-weight ratio optimised. With a centre of gravity close to the tractor and weight optimisation, this machine is adapted to medium-power tractors while accepting a maximum power of 350 hp. The harrow features a central gearbox with an oil cooler for overheating protection and carbide-coated DURAKUHN tines for higher resistance to wear.

A modular concept. This new harrow is designed to work solo or in combination with a cereal or precision seeding bar. The hydraulic settings for working depth, levelling bar and seeding depth, are controlled directly from the cab with the front hopper’s ISOBUS terminal to provide maximum user comfort.

OPTIMER SMART SOIL TECHNOLOGY (SST)

A news technological innovation for comfort and precision in stubble cultivation

OPTIMER SST

The OPTIMER 6 and 7.5 metre independent disc stubble cultivators are now ISOBUS-compatible. This development, known as SMART SOIL TECHNOLOGY (SST), offers users significantly improved working comfort. Proof of its significant impact, it has received several awards at European trade fairs (EIMA in Italy, LAMMA SHOW in the United Kingdom and AGROMASH in Hungary).

SMART SOIL TECHNOLOGY offers a genuine technical solution that can be adapted to all types of terrain. The quality of stubble cultivation is excellent, with a constant working depth and settings that can be controlled entirely from the cab. Productivity and comfort are at the heart of the SMART SOIL TECHNOLOGY innovation.

  • Comfort : complete control of the machine from the cab.
  • Stubble cultivation quality : consistent working depth without overlapping for all plot topographies.
  • Productivity : automated headland turns and working depth modulation via mapping.

MEGANT 722 R and 802 R: new working widths

KUHN’s range of min-till tine seed drills expands with the launch of the new MEGANT 722 R and 802 R machines, offering working widths of 7.20 and 8.00 metres respectively.

The purpose? To ensure fast work output while keeping costs under control and increasing seeding work periods. The 1,800-litre hopper on these machines gives them a considerable operating range. Their light design means that they have a lower power requirement, starting from 180 hp for the 7.20 m version and 200 hp for the 8.00 m version. Being extremely versatile, they can work equally well in different plot conditions: wet, dry, stony, and with plant residues.
