The OKTOPUS is a sprayer with air-assisted nozzles, available in a mounted version, and designed for vineyards and other trellised plantations. The direction-adjustable nozzles make it possible to direct the airflow to the target area with precision.
Robust and reliable, it features a perfectly balanced 3-in-1 tank and sturdy frame.
The OKTOPUS air-blast sprayer is equipped with a centrifugal fan and features all the necessary equipment for precision spraying.

Corrosion-resistant frame

The products used in sprayers can be highly corrosive, and even small traces of rust can damage the frame. With its galvanized coating, the frame is fully protected against corrosion, ensuring enhanced durability and reliability for all of your vineyard and orchard jobs.

Keep the balance!

The 3-in-1 tank has an ergonomic design and is remarkably stable. The three polyethylene tanks (main tank, clean water tank and hand-washing tank) are symmetrical and fit together perfectly. This design ensures perfect machine stability on the road and at work regardless of tank volumes.

Precision spraying

A precision spraying system

The OKTOPUS's spraying system ensures total control of the airflow and product. It is an optimum spraying solution. The spraying and transport functions are independent and fully adjustable. Droplets are formed by interchangeable nozzles mounted on flip-over nozzle holders, ensuring precise control of the number of hits to the plants.

The solution is transported via an airflow whose direction and intensity are easy to adjust: the hands can move in all directions. Shutting off spraying is quick and drip-free thanks to the anti-drip system with diaphragm on each nozzle holder.

The machine comes in two versions: narrow and normal, with a choice in the number of nozzles: 6, 8 or 10.

Centrifugal fans

OKTOPUS fans measure 430 or 450 mm in diameter. A divider chamber splits the airflow evenly both sides of the machine. The fans feature two speeds and a neutral position, useful for agitating without spraying.

The centrifugal fan generates a low volume of air at a very high speed. This means the droplets are displaced quickly enhancing the precision of product application.

A high-performance pump

The OKTOPUS sprayer is equipped with the high-performance APS 71 fan.

Flexible nozzle holders

This sprayer is equipped with double flip-over nozzles. It is also possible to take two different nozzles with you in order to adapt spraying to requirements. The nozzles are easy to change over, giving great user flexibility. In addition, they can be shut off when not needed, for example, when they are too low in relation to the vegetation. The nozzle holders are protected by their position in the airflow.

Ergonomic operation

Make your jobs easier with electric regulation

The electric regulation system automatically adjusts the flow rate in line with engine speed. Users benefit from a straightforward control unit that makes it easy to adjust pressure and open and shut off the sections right from the cab

Spraying jobs with no risk of clogging

The OKTOPUS sprayer is equipped with three standard filters: a basket filter, a suction filter and a pressurised filter. It can also be equipped with section filters, as an option. This multi-level filter system greatly reduces the risk of clogging in the nozzles and pipes, ensuring high performances and reduced maintenance.

Efficient rinsing!

For maximum efficiency, the sprayers feature an optional tank rinsing system with rotating nozzles. This ensures no product residue remains in the tank before a new solution is added, avoids deposits on the tank walls, and prevents nozzles and pipes from clogging. The result is optimal performance and a longer service life for your equipment.

Stainless steel mixing basket with can rinser

KUHN ANTIS and KUHN OKTOPUS sprayers can be equipped with a mixing basket and can rinser in stainless steel. This equipment facilitates product filling and increases durability.
