Find a distributor near you

The ESPRO 1002 R and RC trailed min-till seed drill range features five models: three single-hopper versions from 3.00 to 6.00 m and two double-hopper versions with 4.00-m and 6.00-m working widths. Designed to meet the requirements of modern seeding practices, they combine precision planting, agronomic versatility, and operating simplicity. The new OPTISEED metering units with cassettes and pressurised pneumatic distribution circuit contribute to providing metering precision right up to delivery by the seeding units, even at high speeds. On RC models, this system makes it possible to manage several products at the same time whilst maintaining independent metering for each one.

ESPRO 1002 R/RC have independent working sections which means that seed placement remains regular and uniform on both ploughed and min-tilled land. Levelling, tillage, tamping, sowing and covering are carried out in sequence to create the ideal conditions for uniform emergence across the entire working width.

ESPRO 1002 R/RC seed drills boast large-diameter, offset press wheels and the CROSSFLEX seed bar, providing low power requirements and precise seed placement respectively. In addition, the many automated functions make users' everyday work easier. Half-width shut-off as standard (Section Control), hydraulic adjustments, automated headland-turn control and fast-change cassettes are some of the assets that make these tools highly efficient in terms of performance and input requirements.

Your benefits

Precision seeding, from metering to planting

OPTISEED : le dosage haute précision

OPTISEED: high-precision metering

OPTISEED metering units with cassettes combine high-precision metering with operating simplicity. They were designed for high output and precise, uniform metering, on mixed-seed and fertilisation jobs, when the products are very different. Changing cassettes is quick and easy, no tools required, so it is easy to adapt the seed drill to different products and operational requirements.

Perfect distribution control

OPTISEED cassette metering units with pressurised distribution circuits guarantee precision metering throughout the entire circuit, from the metering-unit outlet to the seeding unit. The fully pressurised circuit ensures uniform distribution to each row, even at high speeds or when working with several different products at the same time. The distribution heads are positioned very close to the seeding units which also enhances uniformity across the whole working width.

CROSSFLEX: uniform sowing at high speeds

The CROSSFLEX seed bar was designed for precision sowing, even at high speeds. It features large-diameter double discs (350 mm), bevelled and offset by 41 mm, that open the furrow uniformly in dry conditions and plant residues. The V-shaped furrow opening facilitates precise seed placement. The seeding units are stabilised by polyurethane mounts fitted to an exclusive cross piece which provides excellent working stability. In combination with coulter pressure of up to 120 kg, this concept contributes to maintaining constant seeding depths.

Precision, even into field corners

With two metering units per hopper and two or four distribution heads, depending on the model, EPSRO 1002 R/RC seed drills feature half-width shut off as standard. This feature shuts half the machine off automatically and with precision, taking product transfer time (entered the terminal by the user) between the metering units and seeding units, into account. This configuration reduces seeding overlaps and missed areas, particularly in uneven plots and field points.

Multipurpose tools serving agriculture

Un semoir polyvalent et universel

A versatile and universal seed drill

ESPRO 1002 seed drills have been designed with the capacity to work in a wide variety of operating conditions, including on ploughed and min-tilled land. With several independent working sections, they can prepare the seedbed and carry out sowing operations in many different situations. If required, these seed drills can be fitted with front press wheels with track eradicators or levelling blades to optimise seedbed preparation. Positioned in two rows, the large-diameter working discs (460 mm) cut through residues, crumble the soil and prepare the plot efficiently for sowing. Thanks to their concave and notched design, the soil is prepared uniformly, even when it is heavy or has a high residue content.

ESPRO RC: one machine, multiple cropping strategies.

ESPRO 1002 RC seed drills feature a double-compartment hopper, making it possible to deliver several products in one single pass. Metering is separate for each product allowing application rates to be aligned with the precise cropping objective desired. Depending on the chosen planting strategy, products can be mixed and delivered into the same seeding line (Single Shot) or planted separately at two different depths (Double Shot) with a second seeding bar. This versatility facilitates targeted fertilisation as well as sowing companion crops and cover crops. ESPRO 1002 RC seed drills are capable of combining several tasks in one operation, which reduces the number of passes necessary, limits soil packing and makes the whole job more efficient.

ESPRO RC: perfectly uniform product mixes

The quality of multi-product seeding depends on how precise metering, mixing and delivering are. OPTISEED metering units and the pressurised pneumatic distribution circuit guarantee uniform product mixes, even when the products are very different. Keeping the entire distribution circuit pressurised ensures that delivery is even across the whole working width and that the product mix remains uniform all the way along to the seeding units. Result: each product is used to its highest potential.

High performance, simplicity at its best

Une faible demande de puissance

Low power requirement

The specific design of the press-wheel axels helps limit the seed drill’s pulling power requirement. The large-diameter wheels (900 mm) are staggered in two rows. This prevents the bulldozer effect and reduces earth from building up at the front of the machine. The large size and narrow width of the wheels reduces running resistance and allows soil and residues to pass in between more easily. The wheels turn either individually or in pairs, so track marks on the soil are minimised during manoeuvres. Lastly, the tyres have a square tread which guarantees uniform seedbed tamping. The result: fuel consumption under control, low pulling power requirement and high work output.

Intuitive control with ISOBUS

The electric distribution system and ISOBUS terminal make easy work of seed-drill operations. Application-rate control is intuitive, depth and pressure adjustments for the seeding units are quick and easy, and U-turn management is automated. Depending on the terminal used, application rates can be modified manually or automatically via GPS and the TC-GEO function. There are so many features that make the ESPRO seed drill so well appreciated for its ergonomic design and ease of use!

GO & END: automated U-turns

Simply press the GO or END key on your ISOBUS CCI 800 or 1200 terminal for automatic U-turn control. The front press wheels, working discs, seeding bar and side markers, if present, raise and lower in the pre-programmed sequence and the distribution system is switched on or off automatically. This automatically sequenced control system improves operating comfort, simplifies headland turns and contributes to constantly high working standards all day long.

Quick setting adjustments, easily accessible

ESPRO 1002 seed drills are designed to make working adjustments easier. Seeding-depth and coulter-pressure adjustments are hydraulic, so the machine can adapt to field conditions quickly. Cylinders with adjustment shims provide simple, visual reference points, making it easy to return to a previously used setting. With these features, the seed drill adapts to working conditions rapidly and makes plot and job changes easier. As a result, your operations run more smoothly and efficiently.

Machines designed to save time

From loading to product changes, ESPRO 1002 seed drills have been designed to make the user's life easier. A platform and half-open mode facilitate access to the hopper. The integrated emptying system makes job changes simpler as well as collecting any remaining seeds. The new OPTISEED cassettes are quick and easy to change, no tools required, and the ISOBUS terminal assists users in choosing the most suitable settings. Result: less time spent getting the seed drill ready and more time spent in the field.
