Precision always wins

The MAXIMA 3 precision seed drill uses a vacuum-based metering system, delivering ultimate accuracy with all types of seeds. The seeding unit and its double-disc furrowing system provide excellent stability, ensuring consistent seeding depth and uniform seed positioning, regardless of seed size. Its DURAKARB carbide V-shaped furrow opening disc ensures ultra-precise seed delivery along a clean, well-defined row. A selector with a very wide adjustment range (30 positions) ensures accurate seed spacing while minimising gaps and doubles. Switching from one crop to another is simple: just change the distribution disc and adjust the selector position.

Different frames designed to meet a maximum range of needs

This new MAXIMA 3 range is designed to suit all tractor power ratings and allows sowing from 6 to 12 rows, with multiple working widths.
Adapted for transport, our range of precision seed bars offers a wide choice of fertiliser hopper and microgranulator options that can equip MAXIMA 3 precision seeding bars.
Overview of available frame versions:
  • MAXIMA 3 TS: Single telescopic frame with a reduced transport width. Suitable for stony soils, it allows sowing 6 to 8 rows with row spacing from 55 to 80 cm.
  • MAXIMA 3 TD: Double telescopic frame, ideal for narrow roads. Designed for 6-row sowing, with a choice of front or rear transport wheels to handle stony or low-bearing capacity sandy soil types.
  • MAXIMA 3 TD L: Wide double telescopic frame. Like the TD model, but allows a 7th row while avoiding running over the future seed line.
  • MAXIMA 3 TI: Adjustable telescopic frame enabling multiple crops to be sown with adjustable row spacing in a 6-row configuration.
  • MAXIMA 3 TI L: Wide adjustable telescopic frame, allows 8 rows with wide spacing from 45 to 80 cm, suitable for beet, maize, or soya.
  • MAXIMA 3 TIM: Multi-adjustable telescopic frame with narrow spacing, enabling different crops in configurations from 6 to 7 rows.
  • MAXIMA 3 TIM L: Wide multi-adjustable telescopic frame, allows up to 8 rows for maize or sunflower, and up to 9 rows for soya and rapeseed.

Exemplary furrow closing

Furrow closing with the MAXIMA 3 can be precisely adapted to your requirements. A wide range of intermediate equipment, such as the retractable stainless steel tamping wheel or intermediate closing discs, ensures proper soil compaction and seed covering in all conditions. The V-MAX roller provides efficient closing: close to the seed with a short support, with well-balanced pressure and multiple wheel configurations. Adjustments of the angle, pressure, spacing, or wheel offset allow optimisation of performance even in stony soils or difficult conditions, ensuring smooth and reliable emergence.

Simple and intuitive adjustments

The MAXIMA 3 features easy, intuitive settings. To make operation of the seeding unit easier, all adjustments are tool-free for greater comfort and faster setup. Ground pressure, trash remover and gauge wheel settings are just a few examples of this straightforward simplicity. All unit settings are clearly visible and easily repeatable across each row. Emptying the metering system is also simple and hands-free, using a dedicated chute.

A sturdy reliable unit

The MAXIMA 3 seeding unit features a cast-iron parallelogram that provides up to approximately 180 kg of ground pressure. It is fitted with chrome plated shafts, and its cast components highlight the robustness of the seeding unit. The seeding unit plate has been designed for long service life, as have all components subjected to high working loads. Finally, the share point is now equipped with carbide-tipped points, ensuring precise sowing over many years while reducing maintenance costs. Equipment in line with all your needs

The MAXIMA 3 range is equipped with three types of equipment:
  • front equipment: clod clearers and trash removers
  • intermediate equipment: intermediate tamping wheel, closing discs, and closing scrapers
  • rear equipment: V-MAX roller, V-HD roller, and OTIFLEX roller
Together, these tools ensure effective seed line cleaning and create optimal seed-to-soil contact conditions for optimum germination. Detailed options can be found in the “Equipment and Options” section.

Why choose the electric drive?

The MAXIMA 3 seeding unit can optionally be equipped with an electric drive for the metering system, offering several advantages:
  • seed density adjustment from the cab for faster operation and optimal user comfort.
  • application rate modulation while seeding thanks to the independence from drive wheel slippage. This ensures perfect seeding accuracy per hectare.
  • section control via GPS or manually. In GPS mode, each row is disengaged independently by switching off the motor, without seed loss. This results in significant seed savings.
  • it also reduces short-term maintenance requirements, with less greasing during the season and fewer wearing parts.

A machine software designed around your needs!

Choose simplicity with a well-designed, logical, and intuitive software interface. You are guided through all settings and can analyse machine performance in detail. Advanced statistics are available both during static set-up and live while seeding. It is possible to customise the information displayed and the level of detail you wish to see. You can control density directly from the cab with fingertip precision, even on a per-row basis for seed producers. Variable seeding density can be applied on bends for machines with a minimum working width of 6 m. Access universal tramlining patterns, whatever your required rhythm, and even increase seed density on rows adjacent to tramlines to compensate for yield losses, without affecting harvesting or disturbing plot spacing.
Localised seed protection and nutrition

Localized seed protection and nutrition

The seed drill can be equipped with one or two centralised microgranulators to apply one or two products simultaneously during seeding. Two delivery options are available: in-furrow or on-furrow, as well as a combination of both. Different hopper sizes are available depending on requirements. The microgranulators cover a wide range of application rates and can handle a broad variety of products. Thanks to centralisation, the operator is less exposed to hazardous products, and handling is faster, easier, and less frequent. End-of-field residual management is simplified, and the microgranulator fill level does not affect seeding unit ground pressure.
For fertilisation, various hopper sizes are also available, with non-stop coulter with shoe or non-stop disc coulters positioned 5 cm offset from the seed line. The metering system allows application rates from 70 to 330 kg/ha depending on speed and machine configuration. Front hoppers (TF) and front-mounted sprayers (PF) also enable solid or liquid fertilisation when paired with MAXIMA 3 seed drills, ensuring versatility and balanced load distribution.

Equipment

OTIFLEX roller

This roller is ideal for sandy soils. It is available in 370 mm or 500 mm.
V-Max roller

V-Max roller

More compact than the V-HD, it is also more robust and suitable for intensive use or heavy soils. This roller is available in rubber or steel. For the first, it leaves a smooth and homogeneous consolidated surface and is ideal for clay soils. Its steel version is more versatile.

Closing scraper

This equipment allows the furrow to be closed in sandy soils or in conditions with little fine soil.
Intermediate axial wheel

Intermediate axial wheel

Made of stainless steel, the press rollers improve the seed-soil contact for fast and homogeneous germination. Can be used in all types of soil, they are easily retractable in sticky conditions.
Closing discs

Closing discs

This intermediate equipment closes the trench in dry, clay, sloping or trash conditions. Can be combined with intermediate stainless steel rollers.

Clod remover

The purpose of the clod clearer is to clear the future seeding line of clods and stones. This equipment is ideal for rocky conditions or on non-smooth ground.
Rotating trash remover

Rotating trash remover

The trash remover clears the future line of plant debris seedlings. This equipment prevents contact between seeds and residues.
