ANTEA Intense 2.CL

A new approach to herd feeding 

Designed to simplify farmers’ lives, ANTEA combines automation, connectivity and feed ration control. Its semi-autonomous operation allows ANTEA to improve the performance of daily tasks while adapting to the specific nature of each operation.

The new design lines of the e-VISIOSPACE cabin offer operators many benefits, making it more comfortable and user-friendly, while maintaining a panoramic view of their work environment. 

The sloping windscreen  reduces dirt build-up and makes it easier to clean,to maintain good visibility. It incorporates an automatic demisting film that reduces the fogging associated with temperature changes when entering and exiting buildings in cold weather. 

The interior of the e-VISIOSPACE cab is inspired by the highest driver expectations in terms of driving ergonomics. 

The control panel (armrest and joystick) is attached to the seat. It is adjustable in height and depth to follow the movements generated by any jolts.  

Several functions can be accessed directly via the switches, such as lighting, limiter management, mirrors, counter knives, and automatic conveyor descent. To personalise your working space, other functions can also be configured directly on the armrest. 

A brand-new 14-inch colour touchscreen is the central point for operators to monitor, adjust and record all machine controls.Featuring two cameras as standard,access to KUHN’s Librafeed weighing system, along with indicators to the machine’s performance, operators are fully in control of every machine function.

The new 200 hp milling machine design with its wide 800 mm conveyor guarantees a high loading rate of coarse forage, especially when handling fibrous products, such as hay, straw and silage.

For loading delicate products such as grass silage, the conveyor has an automatic descent function (exclusive to KUHN). The descent speed automatically adjusts to the density of the forage, to preserve delicate forages. 

The conveyor is positioned at the highest point of the tank to ensure maximum filling. The forage is loaded to the right in the direction of the flow of the mixture (direction of screw rotation), thus reducing unnecessary waiting times to finish loading the tub. 

The two scrapers and the automatic tensioning of the conveyor belt reduce regular maintenance and improve longetivity. 

The latter is designed with a rubber material resistant to silage acids, that has a bolted joint.

KUHN Librafeed is the new weighing management device developed by KUHN which classifies ANTEA in the category of semi-autonomous machines. 

KUHN Librafeed is built into ANTEA, allowing the operator to benefit from the synergy between the machine’s weighing elements and its hydraulic functions. 

The KUHN Librafeed weighing information is visible and accessible from the machine’s main screen, allowing the operator to keep all important information within their view.. 

KUHN Librafeed is connected as standard with the ability to programme and prepare machine tasks from the farm computer or a smartphone. 

While loading is in progress, ANTEA implements the exact functions and parameters defined for each of the rations and ration ingredients. 

From the speeds of each part - the milling cutter, conveyor, or mixing screw - to the counter-knives, you are guaranteed the same high-quality feed, day after day.  

KUHN Librafeed offers precision and consistency in your feeding schedules ! 

The PLATINUM Pack is intended for farms producing more than 5 mixtures per day or for all farmers wishing to maintain a good resale value of their machine on the second-hand market.

The PLATINUM Pack is designed based on KUHN’s exclusive alloy, K-NOX. K-NOX technology combines chromium for acid resistance in silage and ferrite for its mechanical strength properties. 

K-NOX has a lifespan six times longer than standard steels on the market. 

The PLATINUM Pack includes the mixing screws, the inner lining of the housing, the entire cutter and the cutter housing, all made of K-NOX alloy.  

All of these components, including the entire part along with the welds that join them together, are made with K-NOX.

The ANTEA Intense, semi-autonomous, self-propelled mixer with two vertical screws is available in 19, 22, 25 and 27 m3. 

The distribution achieved by a wide transverse front conveyor can be combined with inclined conveyors and discharge chutes at the rear for buildings without an opening. 

To adapt each ANTEA Intense model to various uses, three equipment packs are available: 

• The DURAKUHN package which integrates a tungsten carbide version of all the working parts: milling cutters and mixing screw cutters. 
• The COMFORT package includes features such as a magnet on the mixing screw, additional cameras, a heated version of the COMFORT PLUS seat, and many other features for your driving comfort. 
• The PLATINUM package is dedicated to very intensive use or anyone who wants to benefit from a higher resale value of their machine on the second-hand market. It consists of the loading cutter, the housing lining and the mixing screws all made of K-NOX.
