HELICA distribution: precise, versatile, reliable

HELICA volumetric seed metering by fluted rollers is suitable for all seed sizes and shapes. The system doses application rates from 1.5 to 450 kg. It is accurate and precise throughout the whole operation. It provides regular seeding rates and distribution in the row, even on slopes and uneven ground and is unaffected by vibrations. The PREMIA metering system is controlled by the seed drill's two wheels via a 6-cam selector. Rotation is uniform to ensure reliable control and regular flow which is ideal for fine seeds at low application rates.

After the plough or stubble cultivator, opt for the single-disc model

The discs are positioned in two rows spaced at 27 cm, so they can work in wet conditions and in plant residues without getting clogged up. Each unit has a maximum coulter pressure of 32 kg to maintain sufficient seeding depth, even in hard ground and when deep-seeding at high speeds. The discs are at a slight angle to keep soil disturbance to a minimum. This is highly appreciable when seeding at high speeds. A cast-iron share on the side of the disc consolidates the furrow and places seeds precisely. The shape of the discs facilitates soil penetration ensuring the desired seeding depth is respected. You can be sure that your seeding depth will be extremely constant.

Suffolk coulters: an economical alternative

The profiled Suffolk coulters guide the seeds into the furrow with precision in any conditions. The large, 32 cm, spacing between the rows reduces the risk of clogging making it easier to work in stony, wet, or clayey conditions. The anti-clogging valve closes the Suffolk coulter automatically. These seeding units are designed to be robust. They require very little maintenance.

Control seeding depth even in mixed soil

The adjustable low stop (by rotating handle) determines maximum seeding depth which is a real advantage for combined seeding in mixed soil. It allows you to do high-pressure work while preventing the seeds from going too deep in light soils. The covering harrow with trailing tines is pressure-adjustable to produce great results in any soil type, even in plant debris!

Easy, direct access to check flow rate

You can check the flow rate with the machine on the ground, and it is even possible to do it without the machine being hitched to the tractor. Simply flip the lever for maximum access to carry out calibration or empty the hopper. Then set spline opening with rotating the micrometric screw as needed using a crank handle. The calibration test is particularly simple to do. A parallelogram tilts the seeding bar, freeing a large amount of space for the collection bucket. The bars with delivery tubes are retractable by means of a parallelogram.

Easy to load and empty, a well-designed hopper

The hopper has a large capacity, up to 1,480 L with extension, and a wide opening with a cover that can open 110°. A real advantage that makes loading by bucket or big bag easier! PREMIA seed drills have a V-shaped hopper bottom to reduce residual seeds and ensure uniform metering-unit supply and complete emptying. The oscillating agitator, as standard, handles seeds with the utmost care.

Seed different crops at different application rates!

With additional SH 30 and SH 40 hoppers, you can seed different crops at different application rates without having to mix them. You have more autonomy with the 130 l capacity. Deliver seeds at the required depth in front of the covering harrow or in its working zone.
Side markers with vertical folding for PREMIA seed drills

In total safety!

PREMIA seed drills can be fitted with side markers. They are always vertically folding to be out of the way for manoeuvres. They are equipped with the shear-bolt safety system for protection against obstacles. 3.5 and 4 m versions are available and they can be folded to reduce height for transport.
