Power harrow tines 

Power harrow tines (also called "blades") are the most stressed wearing parts during soil cultivation. Wear directly impacts the quality of the work carried out by the power harrow. When worn, a harrow tine no longer penetrates the soil effectively, which reduces the effectiveness of breaking up clods and levelling. It is therefore essential to regularly check the condition of the parts and replace them as soon as they show signs of wear.  

Which type of tines to use after ploughing?   

Standard tines 

Carbide tines 

Our tines can also feature technology:  

• DURAKUHN, a tungsten carbide coating for a service life 3 times longer!  
• DURAKARB, tungsten carbide inserts for a service life 6 times longer!  

Which tines are used on stubble? 

We recommend OPTIMIX tines for seedbed preparation following stubble cultivation or soil loosening, and for destroying pastures. They are ideal for working on unploughed soils and ensure easier penetration.  

Their shape and forward pointing position (not bevelled) ensure:  

• Greater soil mixing  
• Improved mixing of soil/crop residues.  

 Which tine to use for deep work?   

For deep work, choose the long tine, it is ideal for potato crops. Two versions are available: standard and with DURAKUHN coating resistant to difficult conditions.  

Scraper plates 

Scrapers are essential elements for both the power harrow and the power tiller: 

• Keep the packer roller clean and prevent buildup of soil and plant residues 
• Ensure the performance of the power harrow 
• Control the fuel consumption of the tractor.                                                         

These spare parts play an essential role in the longevity and efficiency of the power harrow.  

Fastening

With our quick-assembly system (flange and pin), there is no need to change nuts and bolts.  

The main beam positioned in the machine frame does not require any special maintenance. The semi-fluid grease contained in this beam preserves bearings and pinions.
