Electrical gearbox

KARL is equipped with a 175hp thermal engine which powers an electric generator.

The tracks are electrically driven, which gives it many advantages such as a speed range in both directions matching the working conditions, or precise monitoring of power consumption for each tracks.

Manual drive

KARL can be controlled with a remote control for manual drive. It allows to move KARL everywhere in any conditions to hitch and unhitch tools, manage logistics or move the machine in the field if necessary.

Fleet management

With a power of 175hp, KARL is designed to meet the demands of most farm sizes, whether medium or large. How? By the flexibility offered by working in a fleet. Adding a second or even a third KARL vehicle can be carried out during the mission to increase work output tenfold. It's very easy to do from the system's mobile application.

Communication with implemlents

With KARL, the driver is the tool.

Ultimately, the result is a successful cultivation operation within an optimal working window, for example the right tillage depth, the adequate seed application rate or even regular and fine shredding of residue. The tool linked to KARL sends the information necessary for proper work performance and KARL adjusts its parameters to carry out work adapted to the different soils, moisture level and plant residues.

Reduce soil compaction

Our most precious resource being the soil, KARL’s limited size and weight, as well as its tracks of different sizes, limit ground pressure which minimizes compaction. Less compaction means less runoff, improved soil life and preserved root development potential

Tine blockage

With its electric motor, the HR2520 e can detect tine blockage.

If a stone blocks the rotation of the tines, the HR2520 e communicates with KARL to carry out operations to release the stone by reversing the tine rotation and then continue field work.

Roller clogging

A roller sensor allows the power harrow to detect roller slippage, to adapt KARL’s parameters and avoid roller clogging.

Overload

With the electric motor, the power harrow detects precisely the consumption and adapts KARL's speed to maintain a good working quality. Another sensor detects if the deflector does not maintain the soil sufficiently in the power harrow working area.

Chassis clogging

With the ultrasonic sensors, the Prolander achieves an effective detection by measuring variations in distance and soil flow. KARL then tries to automatically solution the clogging issue by adjusting the working depth and performing specific maneuvers, ensuring optimal and continuous performance.

Roller clogging

A roller sensor allows the Prolander to detect roller slippage, to adapt KARL’s parameters and avoid any roller clogging.

Tine loss

Each Prolander tine is equipped with a bluetooth tag that is continuously monitored. This allows for immediate detection of tine breakage, alerting the user instantly and stopping work to prevent poor-quality performance.

Chassis clogging

With the ultrasonic sensors, the Cultimer effectively detects blockages by measuring variations in distance and soil flow.

KARL then tries to automatically solution the clogging issue by adjusting the working depth and performing specific maneuvers, ensuring optimal and continuous performance.

Roller clogging

A roller sensor allows the Cultimer to detect the roller slippage, to adapt KARL’s parameters and avoid any roller clogging.

Tine retraction

The Cultimer is equipped with sensors that detect tine retraction. These sensors continuously monitor the tine's position and the frequency of retraction, allowing the system to adjust working parameters based on soil hardness.

By analyzing the recurrence of tine retraction, the Cultimer optimizes its performance to ensure efficient soil cultivation under varying conditions.

Mission creation

With mission creation, you can plan everything from the office:

• Type of implement
• Working parameters like speed, working depth, etc…
• Number of passes in the headland
• Orientation of the lanes
• And everything can be set in less than 5 minutes!

Mission launch

When KARL arrives in the field, you can launch the mission that you created and add the KARL to the mission. During the mission you can add more KARL units to the fleet management (link to fleet management)

Mission monitoring

Any time, the work can be checked whenever you want. Adjust the parameters or just check how much time till the mission is completed. Stay in control from start to finish.

Alert management
