You can estimate your total wrapping net cost by using the KUHN Net Calculator, which automatically calculates your net usage and cost based on your machine settings and production volume.

The KUHN Net Calculator helps you estimate how much wrapping net you will need for the season and what it will cost. It works in two simple steps:

  • Enter your bale and product data (bale size, revolution per bale, price etc.)
  • Get your calculated results (and export them as a PDF)

The net calculator can be only used for round bales.

Bale Size

  • Diameter (cm) – The size of your round bale (e.g., 130 cm).

Revolution and Net Type

  • Number of revolutions per bale – How many layers of net your machine applies (e.g., 2.5)
  • Net type (m) – Select the KUHN net roll length you are using (e.g., KUHN 3600 m)

Price

  • Price per net roll – Your cost per roll

Round bales per year

  • Number of bales produced per year – The volume you expect for the season
