For each ration component, indicate the gross quantity (and not dry matter) distributed to each herd subject.
The calculation of the required volume is instantaneous. This volume takes into account the mixing of the most fibrous products such as hay, wrapped grass or straw.
Note: the volume required is often not the result from the productive herd such as dairy cows. The ration of heifers, big consumer of fibrous products (especially if distribution is made for two days), is frequently used as calculation basis for the machine volume.
