Robustness and versatility

GA 6632+, GA 7932+ and GA 9032+ twin-rotor gyrorakes deliver side windrows. Grass is raked across a width of 6.50 m to 8.80 m. They are ideal for intensive operations thanks to their MASTERDRIVE GIII gearbox.

GA 6632+, GA 7932+ and GA 9032+ gyrorakes come with MASTERDRIVE GIII gearbox. They are effective, versatile and can be used in difficult conditions with low-powered tractors. They meet all these requirements with a wide choice of rotor diameters. Trailed rakes provide variable working widths by modifying the position of the rear rotor, with the possibility of producing one or two side windrows. With all these features, the three gyrorake models are designed to work in intensives situations.

MASTERDRIVE GIII gearbox: reliable and wear-resistant

Today, farm machinery must work more and more hectares and withstand ever higher forces. Machine reliability and durability are the key to meet the requirements of users in terms of work output. The MASTERDRIVE GIII gearboxes have been developed to provide full protection of the drive components and improve wear resistance. This design ensures exceptional reliability and durability even for intensive use.
Inside, the MASTERDRIVE GIII includes a double reduction system with a bevel gear and a cylindrical gear. Bevel-reduction tolerances are tightly controlled making the system extremely reliable and robust, even in difficult conditions.
Gearbox wear is greatly reduced and no maintenance is required. The double reduction system makes it possible to include larger cylindrical gears with more teeth for better power transmission. A free wheel has been integrated in the gearbox to protect the inner components

Robust attachments

The MASTERDRIVE GIII gearbox has been designed to cope with ever increasing stress on the drive chain mainly due to: Increasing working widths and rotor diameters, raking difficult crops such as silage, haylage, straw and hay.
  • Important components have been strengthened to make the rotors lighter yet more robust:
  • Aluminium housings.
  • Optimised cam track to reduce forces on the roller.
  • Larger diameter roller to reduce rotation speed and pressure on the cam.
  • Tine arms with large-diameter bearings.
  • Stronger pivoting-tine-arm shaft.
  • Reinforced main shaft.
  • Reinforced mount of tine arms on tine holders (link per bolted insert).

Windrow formation: the benefit of double-curved arms

Windrow formation: the benefit of double-curved arms

The homogeneous quality and volume of windrows are conditions for fast drying and easy pick-up by balers.
The tine arms on GA rakes are in hyper-tangential position. This means that they reach a 90¡ angle very late. With the tines' sharp-angled cam, tine clearance is quick, later and requires little rotational effort to produce regular, fluffy and straight windrows. Raking is of high quality even at high speeds because the forage is not pushed past the windrow.
    The advantages of double-curved arms:
    • They reduce the distance between tine passes. Forage loss is reduced to a minimum, even at high speeds.
    • The main weight is at the centre of the tine arm. This increases service life as it is not subject to pressure during rotation and the guide rollers are less subject to stress.

    Protecting plant stubble

Perfect rotor adaptation to variations in the plot is just as important as reduced ground pressure when it comes to protecting the ground and plant stubble. GA 1032+ gyrorakes with side delivery are fully equipped to meet these requirements:
    • The rotors are suspended at the junction of a pivot point and independent from the main frame so they can pivot in every direction. 3D pendulum-type rotors follow uneven ground with precision, to perfection. Up and downward movements have an impressive range from around +25 cm to -30 cm. Result: an impeccable performance with the guarantee of clean forage and healthy ground cover.
    • Each rotor is equipped with four wheels positioned extremely close to the rotor for optimized contour following on uneven plots.
What's more, high under-rotor clearance helps pass over windrows with no mechanical stress (almost 50 cm for GA 6632+ and GA 7932+ models and 60 cm for the GA 9032+).
A hydraulic limiter regulates the flow on the front rotor, optimizing its lifting and lowering sequence. The lifting sequence between the front and rear rotor is available as standard on the three models. An accumulator has been added for an optimum rear rotor lift at the right time.

    Easy and practical to use

One windrow delivery with the GA 6632+

One or two windrows? Your choice!

As well as the side delivery of one windrow, these trailed rakes allow you to produce two separate windrows. This is particularly useful for accelerating the drying process:
    • Windrow turning.
    • Narrow windrows in heavy forage.

A hydraulic cylinder ensures easy windrow width adjustment from the cab. This device also allows 100° upward folding of the windrow curtain for transport, avoiding trying manual work. A second windrow curtain, useful in case of delivering two windrows, is available as option for the front rotor.

    Designed to be stable

Resting firmly on very large undercarriages and fitted with up to 6 wheels per rotor, the three models can easily perform in varying field and crop conditions.
A two-wheel undercarriage is standard on the GA 6632+ front rotor. Bogie axles are standard on GA 7932+ and GA 9032+ models and are available as an option on the GA 6632+. They run especially smoothly over potholes on the road as well as on uneven plots (due to damage caused by game or after use as pasture). The rear rotors of GA 6632+ and 7932+ are equipped with two additional wheels.

    Parallelogram-type drawbar

The rake is hitched to the tractor very simply with a drawbar that enables height adjustment. The front part of the drawbar is always horizontal no matter what height the rotors are, and this prevents any jamming with the tractor's hitch.

The market reference for rakes with side delivery

The GA 9032+ is the biggest trailed Gyrorake with side delivery on the market - a true landmark with up to 8.80 m of working width in two-windrow position. What's more, its price/working width ratio is unbeatable.
Changing from work to transport position is easy from the tractor cab, reducing the width of the GA 6632+ to 3.00 m, the GA 7932+ to 3.50 m and the GA 9032+ to 4.10 m. All three models feature removable arms for driving comfort in total safety, for long journeys and storage in difficult-to-access locations. The GA 6632+ rake features movable rear panels as option. It can therefore comply with road regulations in force in certain countries without removing the tine arms for transport. You can also reduce the storage width for optimum use of the space in the buildings.
